Why can’t i get any money from my DKB Credit card on an atm? – Backpacking Tips

DKB Visa card and a minimum amount you have to choose

For everybody who uses the DKB Visa card, since the 1st of December 2016 there are a few little changes. Most of them to the positive, but if you don’t know about the changes, it might become complicated.

Problems getting money at an ATM

If you can’t get any money from an ATM or you have the message that you can’t get any money now and you should try later, then we have something for you. The little change causing the problem is the new minimum amount you have to grab from an atm. The minimum amount is now 50 Euro (or converted into every other currency), that means in New Zealand you have to grab around 90 NZD. As soon as you want to grab more than the minimum amount, the problem should be solved.

If you are an active customer at your DKB account, then now even paying in a foreign currency is free.
